Our residents absolutely love flower arranging. It fills our home with colour and gives everyone a chance to make their own unique arrangement. This time around we used different coloured roses and carnations in our compositions, each one was different to the next. We can’t wait to do some more arrangements in the future! 🌷🌹🌺

We had a real treat this month! Northeast Productions came in to perform ‘When I’m Cleaning Windows’. We joined ‘Jim the squeeze’ and ‘Jack the lad’ on their lunch break and found out what these cheeky window cleaners get up to! We especially loved hearing all our favourite songs, many of our residents joined in too!

They enjoyed it so much.
The Princes Trust came into our home and ran a fabulous activity session with our residents. The young people brought their own activities in and sat and engaged with our residents. It was a great afternoon full of colouring, bracelet and charm making, brain teasers and board games! The young people made sure there was something for everyone! We cannot wait to have the Princes Trust come back again.

Yesterday our residents got to enjoy a birds of prey session out in the garden. We enjoyed learning about where they come from, what they eat and what it takes to look after them! The birds were very clever and flew from one resident to the next (as long as there was a yummy reward waiting for them!) We cannot wait to get Walks with Hawks back again and meet some more of their flying friends! 🦉
